I typically paint on 12″ x 12″ stretched canvas, 1.5″ deep.

If you are interested in an alternate media or dimensions, I would be happy to discuss that with you and look into the availability of other options.

When I am preparing to paint a person or a pet, I typically request 3 photos of the subject.  I base my painting on those images.

In order to create a collaborative portrait, I may send the family paper for the child to draw on.  

My youngest collaborators may finger-paint or watercolor the page, and I’ll then draw on top.

Children who are ready for representational art can draw on the page I send, and when I get the page back, I’ll add my painting.

Alternatively, a family can send me a photo of the child’s art, and I’ll work from there.
